Ouessant sheep are sheared on their side -with feet tied up to stop them nimbly getting away.

Llamas are sheared by hand, tied to a post by a halter (like a horse) and sheared standing.
Angora goats are sheared twice a year, in April and septembre to obtain the best fleece. They are sheared on their sides, no need to tie legs up, they usualy fall asleep!
