Pure percheron filly born on the 29.03.08 on a sunny day ( 1pm). Nicco ran in, as we were sitting down for dinner, to announce that there was a present in the field. We all rushed outside and down the field to where Illy our percheron mare was laid down. Ursula knelt down to check the foal, its was a girl ! Ursula not believing her luck, lookagain to make sure and smiled from ear to ear. 
Illy is one, of two, working percheron mares at ecoferme, she is the best at working, being very calm, strong, and waits on her own for long lengths of time to have the cart loaded. Sheis a french percheron born in the perche, with a long genetic linage ofpercherons thathave anexceptional working deposition,being calm & highlyintelligent.We have been wanting a female from her, to continue this good linage but every time she has given us males in succession. Long awaited ( 6 years) female is here. !!
